We stayed overnight last night. Reception is friendly, helpful and professional.
Room very clean and nicely decorated. Continental breakfast was great - nicely
laid out with a good variety of foods. The waffles were wonderful! All told,
it's a great spot to stay. Speaking of spot, the little dog named Sam is a fun
addition to the reception area.

Have stayed here a few times.
Great breakfast with hot waffles! (you make yourself to order)
Some rooms are dated, but hotel is in decent repair all in all.
I travel with my Doberman and both hotel and guests were accommodating having a
large dog in the room and in the yard.
Playground and cook area is nice and gets you socializing with other guests.

We actively looked for Best Western from our previous experience and thanks to
the staff at Ramada for the directions on how to find it! Lovely large room,
helpful and friendly staff, lovely breakfast included, with yummy waffles, and
great value if passing through this very nice town as we were.
We wil be using Best Western a lot more in future, ideal for touring couples

Our Host Tim was great!!! Really nice man letting us know about things in
Penticton. The room was very nice, it was a kitchenette. Updated room, made it
like we were at home!! The bed was so "comfortable" so if you are on the road,
nothing like a good bed!!! Really liked having a door off the living room so my
dog could go out and have a walk around. In the summer just go outside your door
and enjoy the rays with a table and chairs, outdoor swimming pool, and a
barbeque pit!!! The indoor pool and hot tub were nice and clean! Enjoy you
morning with a continental breakfast!! We will be back!!!! See you soon!!!

First let me say that the office staff were great, both on the phone booking the
room, and during checkin anb out. Now the room. decent size, bathroom old and in
major need or repair. My room had a walk in shower that was a renovation. The
tile was terrible, grout was missing all over. The cleanliness of the room ok,
bathroom not. My room was ground floor outside entrance. The parking lot was
dark and secluded. I am a women travelling on business try to stay away from
situations like this. So there is an outside door that opens to a dark, empty
parking lot, then there is another door that opens out onto a courtyard. Again
very secluded. would be nice in the summer. The breakfast was very limited. But
the worst part was the cost. VERY OVERPRICED for what you get. Paid 20/night
more than I paid in Kelowna for a Best Western for a much lower quality stay.
Will not stay here again. But if you are there with a family in the summer the
courtyard and outdoor pool would be great. But if they are this overpriced in
the winter I can't imagine th ed price in summer. The Best Western in Kelowna
also has a great courtyard.

The staff was super friendly, even though our room wasn't quite ready when we
got there, they gave us a key to the pool where my kids were kept occupied until
it was, which wasn't that long, and the continental breakfast had everything to
suit all four of my kids.

We stayed during the July long weekend, and couldn't be more pleased. The hotel
was busy, but had a great atmosphere. I found it to be very clean (no hair!),
and quiet, and loved the family feel. Continental breakfast was a superb, with
an excellent variety. The courtyard is gorgeous, and well taken care of. We
loved that there was a BBQ area, as well as an outdoor pool. The indoor pool was
handy to have when the so called 'summer' weather rolled around.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a well spoken, very knowledgeable, young man.
He quickly got us checked in, and on our way. He was more then happy to answer
any of the questions we had. The hotel is located just minutes away from skaha
beach, close to restaurants, and shopping too.
This hotel is priced below, and very reasonably compared to most of the other
hotels in town, and we definitely recommend it!

We stayed for three nights at this hotel and enjoyed the experience. It was
quiet, well run and a great place for families - green space and pools, both
inside and out. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful.

The hotel is clean and OK if you do not expect much! This is not your average BW
standard hotel and it is NOT a 3 star hotel as advertised. It is at best a 2
start Motel not unlike an average road side motel.
Outside corridors, the outside and the inside require major upgrades.
Very expensive for what you get.

We were visiting in OK Falls and stayed here because it was close. What a great
find though. Love how the hotel is set up, you park in the back and come in a
back door. However, there is a front door to go through to get to the playground
and outdoor pool, you don't see any cars. You have a little table and a couple
of chairs right out side of your room on a wrap around balcony. The room is
quite nice and a very comfy cozy bed. There is a full kitchen, so it is a great
setup for staying an extended period of time.
The free breakfast (love those waffles) was in a lovely upstairs room and had an
outdoor balcony to eat on as well. Very pleasant lady and really kept her cool
with it being so busy and no tables available to sit at. Also there was a waffle
maker that was broken so the lineup was very long for the only one working.
Apparently it had been broken for quite a while and management hasn't bothered
to fix it - not a smart thing. The most pleasant surprise was the use of real
plates and silverware - not something usually found at a BW. Wish all BW's would
do the same - such a help with the landfills.
We did not use the indoor pool or hottub - but they looked inviting. The outdoor
pool was still closed because it was only April. All the staff were very
friendly. It is not by the beach/lake and do not know how far away they are.
Penticton is only a 5 minute drive though. I would stay here again if we were in
the area. |
