We have stayed at the Penticton Ramada many times. Each and EVERY time I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and have left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and wishing my time spent at the Penticton Ramada was longer. The rooms are always extremely clean and comfortable. All face a beautiful and meticulously manicured tropical grounds setting. Lush grass, full foliage and trees surround a beautiful outdoor pool large enough to swim laps or hang out in the shallow end. The pool is surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs and a poolside lounge. The outdoor hot tub is always perfectly clean and inviting with a view of the pool, and Penticton hillside. The beautiful grounds and meeting room host weddings and wedding receptions. The casual fare at the Kettle Valley Station Pub and exceptional service make for a very fun and satisfying meal experience. The outdoor patio off the Pub boasts a spectacular view of the grounds and hillside as well as running calming water. The front desk staff are extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. I would absolutely give the Ramada Inn & Suites Penticton a 10/10 rating and look forward to many more stays there.

Stayed in July for a quick overnight work trip. I usually stay at the Lakeside but thought I'd try the Ramada as it is much less expensive and the good reviews here. Check in was a little slow. My only real complaint is the very very slow internet. I can't justify staying here again due to that fact. Yes, the internet is free but they pass multiple passwords to every room making it impossible to get any online speeds. They did call tech support but I don't think they actually did anything because it remained impossibly slow.

This hotel layout is perfect for families and friends. We have come every year for the past half dozen. The courtyard layout allows for relaxing on the patio with friends in nearby rooms. The younger kids can play on the grass and enjoy enough freedom to roam, because you can keep an eye out for them. The pool and poolside restaurant are both great. This year they added staff to entertain the kids with water balloons and other fantastic fun. We always meet another family or two here in the summer. The common BBQs and playground are also a bonus. The air conditioned rooms are simple, clean, with no real kitchen. They do offer suites but the kids and adults all can socialize best from the ground level rooms. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This very short getaway was a chance for us to recharge batteries after a stressful few weeks. The hotel staff were pleasant enough and location was not bad, but our biggest gripe was with the heating system.

Our room was a very special fireplace jacuzzi suite, and I was looking forward to savoring both the fireplace and the jacuzzi. However, the room was so hot that you could have grown avocados in there. If I'd switched on the fire or started up the jacuzzi, we could have simulated the Brazilian rain forest. Despite calls to the front desk, there was nothing that could be done (we had the air conditioning setting running and the balcony doors open but somehow the room refused to cool down) - leaving the doors wide open overnight was not an option (noise and security) so all in all the room was a disappointment.

Given the chance of getting stuck with a room that had no heating/cooling control and the possibility of a very uncomfortable night's lack of sleep, I wouldn't recommend this hotel

We often visit family in Penticton and always stay at this hotel. But during our last stay while waiting for the (painfully slow) elevator I saw a cleaning staff picking up a pile of "clean" linen off the dirty floor as the doors opened up. As she was attempting to pick up the pile of "clean" linen off the dirty floor of the elevator it kept on slipping off her arm and sprawling across the dirty floor of the hallway. I was just glad I was checking out that day. Don't they have a better system to bring up clean linen than piling it on the dirty floor of the elevator???
