The best part of this hotel is the pool and Jacuzzi. Very nice, although it
closes at 10pm which is a little early for my liking. Overall the place is clean
and decent. The restaurant has a nice brunch on Sundays. Also very convenient
for shopping since everything is across the hwy including a BC Liquor store.

I have stayed here before and was not surprised by my visit. The rooms and hotel
are a little worn, but comfortable. I had great experience with the Front Desk
staff. They did there best to answer my questions. My problem came with the
noise level in the room. I could easily hear the people in the adjoining room
when they came in late at night. The rooms really were not quiet. The rooms are
adequate for what I paid. Do not expect a high quality room. Would I stay there
again. Yes! The location is great, It is an old hotel, I expect that it won't be
too quiet, what I need is a place to sleep.

Stayed two nights and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful
and friendly. Enjoyed my stay.

The Hotel was great, but the food in the Checkers was not too great. The ribs
were dry and the fried potatoes were so dried out from re-heating or something,
they were inedible. There was a Young Lacrosse team staying in the Hotel, and it
appeared no supervision as the kids were running all over the hotel! I even
commented to the Reception, about "Where are the Parents". Her response to me
was "ya, we'd like to know too"

We certainly enjoyed our stay. The staff was great as was the room. We loved
being able to be on the ground floor facing the garden. I loved sitting out
there and enjoying the fountains and flowers. The restaurant was great and had a
wonderful breakfast. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to
anyone. |
