I was in Vernon on business and I have to say I love this hotel! Location is
great and the staff here really go out of there way to make you feel at home!
Room was large, bright, clean and affordable! Ora restaurant has great wings and
having a kitchenette in my loft room was convenient! I would like to thank Mr.
Gibbs and his staff for taking care of me! Will see you soon!

I stayed there recently for one night on business travel.
Good:
Lots of easy parking. Staff was fine - no complaints but no extra efforts. The
room was very large with a comfortable bed, large flat TV, nice furniture and
decorations. It was quiet when I was there. Nice bathroom with walk in shower
(no tub). The onsite and somewhat upscale restaurant/lounge was nice and
convenient.
Bad:
The shower tap did not work properly. It took a very very long time to get warm
water - I almost gave up. When warm water did arrive, it got very hot. The tap
was not easy to adjust the temperature and once I had it right, it changed by
itself after 1/2 a minute or so - adjust... change, I had to constantly adjust
it. I think they were very cheap taps in an otherwise nicely done bathroom.
Overall a nice place and I liked the large room. Perhaps my shower experience
was only this room?

That's not saying a whole lot mind you but the Prestige is a nice place and the
staff are very accommodating. I stayed in a deluxe room with kitchen (full
stove, fridge, microwave, espresso machine). There isn't a desk, but the dining
room table is fine for computer work (although there isn't a nearby outlet so
you have to have a long cord to plug into the kitchen area). The hotel is across
the street from a mall with a couple of restaurants although it has its own
restaurant and bar (and spa and pool and convention centre).
The one minor quibble I have is that the shower/tub combo is dangerous. The tub
is very deep and there is nothing to hold onto when getting in and out so be
careful!

The Prestige Hotel is a nice hotel. It is a hit and miss with staff. The front
desk assistant manager was friendly and very accommodating, while other staff at
the front desk just did not see to care. The dinning room staff were all amazing
and very friendly. The room was a nice large room. There were a couple small
problems with the room, which were addressed as soon as I mentioned them to the
front desk. As always with any hotel in the valley, you should check to see if
there are any teams staying at the hotel at the same time. It is amazing how
women will be different when they are away from their husbands, there were a
number of women's sports teams staying there and they were loud. Credit to the
assistant front desk manager, as she did warn us that the teams were checking in
and did offer to move us to hopefully quieter area of the hotel.
